It is often said that smart phones make our life easier, because of these convenient devices, we can take our work anywhere, which is not necessarily a good thing.
A recent survey found that two-thirds of office workers continue to use their smartphones outside of office hours. These so-called screen slaves will stick to their smartphones on their way home, which can lead to health problems.
For example, using a smartphone on a train or sofa can cause back and neck pain. What's more, in Taiwan, watching small screens for a long time can cause vision problems. Even one person loses the function of index finger because he plays games on his smartphone for six hours a day.
Those who use smartphones regularly also complain about headaches, increased stress, and insomnia at night, so we may need to learn to reduce our dependence on smartphones and drop them occasionally.
