大家好，今天我说的是一些世界珍稀动物。大家都知道，由于人类的乱补滥杀和对环境的破坏，现在世界上很多动物都濒临灭绝。不知道同学们对一些珍稀动物有多少了解。其实我对这些动物也没有多大了解，仅限平时在网上看到的一些图片及简单介绍。今天我就说大家都知道的一些珍稀动物吧。

As you are aware, many of the animals are on the verge of extinction due to indiscriminate killing by human being and disruption of environment. I don’t know how much do you know about these rare animals, to be frank, I know little about them by means of pictures and brief introduction on the Internet. Today let me introduce some of the rare animals that we know.
首先，是大熊猫，大家都知道它是我们的国宝，毛茸茸的非常开爱，相信大家都比较了解熊猫，我就不多说了。
First of all, I’d like to mention the giant panda. As we all know that the giant panda is a national treasure of our country, it is a lovely & hairy animal. I believe we know fairly well about it, so I will not say much.
不知道大家认不认识这是什么动物。这是小熊猫，还有一个名字就是红熊猫，主要分布在我国南方到喜马拉雅山麓，生活在针阔混交林或常绿阔叶林，其实看起来很可爱。大家可以看下它的简介。
Do you know what animal is this? This is the lesser panda, also called the red panda. It is mainly distributed in South China to the foothills of Himalaya, living in the coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forests and evergreen broad-leaved forest. It looks lovely too. We can have a look at the brief introduction about it.
下面是非洲象，它是陆地上最大的哺乳动物和第二高的动物，性情警惕而暴躁。
Now let’s see the African elephants, it is the largest mammal and second highest animal on land with a alert and irascible temperament.
藏羚羊是中国特有物种。生活在青藏高原，有少量分布在印度拉达克地区。现在野生种群数量约有21到23万只。
The Tibetan antelope is the endemic species in China. It lives in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, with a small amount distributed in the Ladakh region in India. The wild population of it is only about 210,000 to 230,000.
长颈鹿我就不多说了，相信大家都知道它就是世界上现存最高的陆生动物了。
I will not say much about the giraffe, I believe we all know it is the world's highest animal existing on earth.
下面是金钱豹，它有着华丽的外表与健硕的身躯，体态似虎，性情凶猛狡猾。是动物界奔跑速度最快的动物。
Then let’s come to the leopard. It has a gorgeous appearance and a healthy body similar to a tiger, ferocious and cunning in temperament. It is the animal that runs the fastest in the animal world.
还有就是鸭嘴兽，它是最原始的哺乳动物之一。鸭嘴兽是极少数用毒液自卫的哺乳动物之一，是珍贵的单孔目动物。
Another to mention is the platypus. It is one of the most primitive mammals. The platypus is one of the very few mammals which defend itself with the venom, and is a precious monotremata animal.
最后一个就是火烈鸟，我感觉它不是很漂亮。火烈鸟有五种，分三属。详细的我就不说了，大家感兴趣的话可以去网上查查。
Lastly, let’s talk about the Flamingo. I think it is not so beautiful. There are five different kinds of Flamingos divided into three genera. I won’t talk about it in detail. If you are interested in it, you can check it up on the Internet.

Actually I don't know much about these animals, only about the pictures and simple information on the internet. Today I'll just talk about some endangered animals that everyone knows. First, the panda. Everyone knows that it's our national treasure, very furry and cute. I believe that everyone is familiar with the panda, so I won't talk much about it.
Do everyone know abou this animal? It is the red panda, mostly spread out in the southern parts of China, all the way the the Himalayas, living in mixed coniferous or evergreen broad-leaved forests. They are actually very cute. Everyone can look at it's introduction.
Next is the African elephant, it is the largest mammal on land and the second tallest. It is very alert and irritable.
Tibetan antelope is an animal only found in China. They live at the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and some spread out at India and Iraq. The wild populations are about 210 thousand to 230 thousand.
I won't talk much about the giraffe, everyone knows that it is the tallest land animal on Earth.
Next up, the leopard. It has a fancy appearance and a strong body, looks like a tiger, and is very violent and crafty. It is the fastest runner in the animal world.
Also, there is the platypus, it is one of the oldest mammals. The platypus is one of the few mammals that uses venom to protect it self, and is a precious monotreme.
Last but not least, the flamingo. I don't think that they are pretty. There are five types of flamingo, in three genres. I won't go into the details, if you are interested, you can research online.
